In order to keep this home cinema discreet and not to impose on the decor of the room a drop down projector screen from Screen Research was specified that would retract into some cabinet work. Dropping down in front of the plasma screen when in use and being out of sight when not. The plasma screen, mounted on the wall, was recessed into some further cabinet work leaving a flush clean finish. This cabinet work also allowed in-wall speakers (Meridian P320) to provide the front soundstage.

Providing the soundtrack is the incredibly robust Rotel RSX1560. Artcoustic Diablo Monitors provide the surround channels.

All in all a less than perfect shaped room has been turned into a room that is a pleasure to sit in, and an absolute delight to watch a movie in.
